Alberttt Moves From RRQ Sena To RRQ Hoshi For MPL ID

• Alberttt will be switching over from RRQ's MDL squad RRQ Sena to their main squad RRQ Hoshi.
• RRQ are defending their title from last season's win at the MPL ID
• Alberttt and Liam are new entrants to the team after Tuturu's departure.

Recently, news had been circulating that RRQ would be recruiting one more junior player to play in the MPL ID S6, and the rumours pointed to Albert Neilsen Iskandar a.k.a. Alberttt.Today, in an Instagram post, RRQ confirmed that it is indeed the 16-year-old from Denpasar who will be switching over.

Their management has decided to switch Alberttt from their MDL RRQ Sena squad to their main MPL ID RRQ Hoshi squad (previously known as RRQ O2). Recently, there have been a few changes to the lineup of RRQ’s Mobile Legends: Bang Bang division with Tuturu’s departure from the pro scene. Liam was brought in to replace him. James Chen has been retained as their coaching captain. RRQ Hoshi consists of last season’s mainstays including their captain Vyn, Xin, LJ, Lemon, R7, Wizzking and now, new entrant Liam. Alberttt will be part of the squad that will face Bigetron Alpha in their match tomorrow in MPL Indonesia Season 6 Week 2.

Rex Regum Qeon (RRQ) and MPL ID

Formed in August 2017, RRQ O2 consisted of some of the top players in the MLBB Indonesia scene. Now RRQ O2 has changed its name to RRQ Hoshi. The team has been wildly successful, winning the MPL Invitational - 4 Nation Cup event in July and also the last season of MPL ID. The team also bagged 2nd place in the M1 World Championship 2019 and MPL ID Season 4.

With MPL Indonesia Season 6 and MDL Season 2 having kicked off, hopes from RRQ are high. Both their squads are doing well. RRQ Sena won their matches against Siren Esports, Victim and EVOS while RRQ Hoshi claimed victory against GEEK FAM and EVOS.  Week 2 of the Regular Season will begin with RRQ Hoshi going against Bigetron Alpha tomorrow on 22nd August. The team’s next match is against Onic on 23rd August. RRQ Sena will face Alter Ego X on the 31st of August. If RRQ Hoshi is successful in continuing their victory streak, they could walk away as champions with $25,000.

To ensure the safety and health of the teams, staff, partners, and fans amidst the ongoing global pandemic, the entirety of the MPL-ID Season 6 will be played online. All matches will be streamed live via official social media channels (Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Facebook, Mobile Legends Esports Facebook, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang YouTube).
