Highlights
There are many classes of weapons and each has its own strengths.
Some guns have very low stats in terms of damage, accuracy, and aren't the optimal picks for their class.

Free Fire has several different weapons to choose from, depending on the situation and player. Each gun has strengths and weaknesses as they vary in damage, recoil, fire rate, and rarity. Some guns have a better mix of stats that make them suited for short, medium, or long-range combat etc. So knowing the best and worst guns in Free Fire will give you an advantage while deciding what to pick up. However, keep in mind that some players might be used to a certain gun or style of play so choose according to what fits you best.

MP40

Compared to other SMGs, the MP40 is one of the worst guns in Free Fire.

Garena

While this submachine gun has a high fire rate, its one of the worst guns in Free Fire for its class. The gun has one of the worst accuracy and range ratings in the game and a small 20 bullet magazine. The gun also isn’t versatile and only has a magazine attachment slot. The MP40’s drawbacks far outweigh its benefits, making it one of the worst guns in Free Fire, especially for the SMG class.

SCAR

The SCAR has low recoil but is quite hard to control regardless.

Garena

While the low recoil, decent accuracy may seem tempting, it has the lowest damage in the assault rifle class. While recoil is low, controlling the bullet spray is hard without proper attachments. Overall the gun is fine for short-mid range combat but there are better rifles out there.

VSS

The VSS's low damage holds the gun back despite built-in attachments.

Garena

The VSS submachine gun seems like a good choice as a make-shift sniper with a built-in 4x scope and silencer. However, the high range doesn’t matter when its damage is just 54, making it very hard to down enemies from a distance. Further, the gun comes with a pre-attached scope which cannot be unequipped. So you’re stuck with a short-to-medium range weapon with an average hip fire rate but terrible ADS.
