One of the recently leaked champions in League of Legends: Wild Rift is Rumble. He is classified as a Fighter champion with a wide range of AoE (Area of Effect) abilities. Rumble can also be quite flexible and can equip defensive items to improve his survivability without losing much of his damage potential.
Since Rumble is already an existing champion in League of Legends (LoL) PC, Riot Games may implement the same ability kit for the mobile version. However, a few changes may be made to make him playable in Wild Rift and provide players with a smoother experience.
Wild Rift Rumble Release Date
Riot Games is yet to announce the release date of Rumble in Wild Rift. Data Miners speculate that he may be one of the upcoming champions to be released on 2024, alongside Quinn and Nidalee.
Rumble is one of the oldest champions released on LoL PC. The champion has received a lot of visual and gameplay changes since his release in the game. However, he has always been a staple pick in the Baron Lane or Jungle due to his fast wave clear and utility.
Wild Rift Rumble Ability
For players who are curious, here is a quick rundown of the abilities of Rumble in League of Legends which may also be implemented in Wild Rift.
Passive: Junkyard Titan
Every spell Rumble casts gives him Heat. When he reaches 50% Heat he reaches Danger Zone, granting all his basic abilities bonus effects. When he reaches 100% Heat, he starts Overheating, gaining bonus Attack Speed and granting his basic attacks bonus damage, but making him unable to cast spells for a few seconds.
Skill 1: Flamespitter
Rumble torches opponents in front of him, dealing magic damage in a cone for 3 seconds. While in Danger Zone, this damage is increased.
Skill 2: Scrap Shield
Rumble pulls up a shield, protecting him from damage and granting him a quick burst of speed. While in Danger Zone, the shield strength and speed bonus are increased.
Skill 3: Electro Harpoon
Rumble launches a harpoon, electrocuting his target with magic damage, slowing their Move Speed, and reducing their Magic Resist. Rumble can carry 2 harpoons at a time. While in Danger Zone the damage and slow percentage are increased.
Ultimate: The Equalizer
Rumble fires off a group of rockets, creating a wall of flames that damages and slows enemies
Players should keep in mind some abilities may be adjusted or reworked to fit the mobile platform once Rumble gets released in Wild Rift. This means, some of these abilities may be changed similar to the changes made on Vayne and Lux.
It will be interesting to see how Riot Games implements Rumble's playstyle in Wild Rift once he gets added to the game.
