What to expect from Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1?
Fortnite Chapter 5 leaks suggest that the next chapter will be based around racing. Fortnite content creator and leaker iFireMonkey tweeted out details of the new modes, map pool and future collabs, reportedly coming to Fortnite.
The Racing Mode will apparently have four available modes:
The ‘Garage’ will help players customize their vehicles while the ‘Racing Mode’ is said to have its own Battle Pass with rewards, XP, and possibly new unlockable cars. The creator also leaked information about a potential collaboration with Doctor Who, which tracks with the release date of the Doctor Who 60th anniversary special.
Another screenshot shared by the creator alludes to both U.N.I.T. (from the Doctor Who spinoff franchise Torchwood) and the iconic blue box, the TARDIS.
The collaboration will reportedly last two weeks and will feature 2 Skins, 2 Pickaxes, 1 Glider, and 1 Emote along with a free Beep the Meep Spray. Another account claiming leaks for the collaboration posted a screenshot which showed that players will have to ‘complete U.N.I.T. quests to detect Residual Energy’.
Back in July, iFireMonkey first tweeted about the Fortnite x Doctor Who collaboration, saying it was delayed for Fortnite x Lego.
Another leaker, NotJulesDev tweeted out that wall running and wall kicking were apparently being tested out for the next chapter.
Note that all these leaks and rumors can only amount to speculation at this stage. Fans will have to wait for Epic Games to announce the collaboration and more details about the upcoming chapter.
