Many upcoming players and teams have been able to impress the fans with their performance and have also earned substantial money from the prize pools along with individual awards. In this article we will talk about the top 5 BGMI players who have won the most prize money in 2023.

All of the below mentioned amounts are according to Liquipedia. The list features all the players from Gladiators Esports due to the team’s performance across major BGMI events like BGIS 2023, BMPS 2023 and BGMS Season 2 2023 which boasted massive prize pools.

Top 5 BGMI players who won the most prize money in 2023

DeltaPG ($67,449 USD): 

Parth "DeltaPG" Garg is one of the core players of Gladiators Esports. His performance in the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2023 event helped Gladiators Esports win its first official event. He was the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the overall event. 

DeltaPG achievements:

  • BGIS 2023 (MVP) - $4,807 USD.

  • Upthrust Esports Pro Showdown Season 2 ( League MVP) - $601 USD.

  • India Today League Invitationals (MVP) - $1,220 USD.

Justin ($62,273 USD): 

Justin “Justin” Nadar is the assaulter for Gladiator Esports and has performed remarkably well in Gladiators Esports’ first ever major BGMI tournament win. He also secured multiple match MVP accolades due to his consistent performance in the BGIS 2023 event. 

Justin achievements:

  • BGMS Season 2 2023 (MVP) - $1,452 USD.

  • BGMI Rising Showmatch MVP.

Destro ($60,071 USD):

Ammar “Destro” Khan is the In Game Leader (IGL) of Gladiators Esports. He led the Gladiators Esports BGMI team to victory in two of the three major BGMI events in 2023 and the team also placed second in the recently concluded Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series event. Destro has earned an approximate amount of $60,071 USD in 2023.

Shogun ($60,071 USD):

Pawan “Shogun” Kumar was an upcoming player when he was signed by Gladiators Esports alongside Destro, Justin and DeltaPG. He had exceptional performances across multiple BGMI events and was one of the top players in Battlegrounds Mobile India Masters Series (BGMS) Season 2 2023 and the BGIS 2023 events.

Manya ($37,535 USD):

Mohammad “Manya” Raja is the In Game Leader (IGL) of Blind Esports. Manya was signed by Blind Esports along with the other members of the team in March 2023 and the team has dominated under his leadership. He led the squad to victories across multiple third party BGMI events and finally won his first ever official BGMI event in the recently concluded Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series (BMPS) 2023 event. 

Manya achievements:

  • BGIS 2023 (Best IGL) - $2,404 USD.

  • Villager Esports Dominator Series (MVP) - $607 USD.

Although Destro and Shogun don’t have individual awards they have performed exceptionally in clutch situations and also have multiple match MVP accolades in those events.

The 2024 season will put forth new challenges for the players mentioned above and with the way they have performed in 2023 it can be expected that they may continue to dominate in 2024 as well.
