The PUBG Mobile Pro League (PMPL) S1 2021: Americas Championship featuring a $150,000 USD prize pool is all set to take place from 17th-20th June 2021. A total of 16 teams from multiple regions like North and Latin America will be competing in this tournament, having made their way through various other events like PMPL - S1 2021: North America Finals, PMPL - S1 2021: Brazil Finals, PMPL - S1 2021: LATAM Finals, and PMPL Fall Split 2020: Americas Finals. Out of all the qualified teams, six teams are from North America, five teams are from Brazil, four teams are from Argentina, and a single team representing Mexico.

With less than a day left for the tournament to begin, PMPL Americas Championship 2021 is all set to kick off from June 17, to crown their champion. With 16 of the best teams from across the region having valiantly fought their way to qualify for this $150,000 PUBG Mobile Regional Championship, it is bound to be a ruthless fight as every team tries to win as many Chicken Dinners as possible.

PMPL Americas Championship 2021 - Teams Participating

As many as five PUBG Mobile teams competing in PMPL Americas Championship 2021 have made their way through the $55,000 USD PMPL - S1 2021: NA Finals. The event had taken place earlier this year from 16th-18th April with Ghost Gaming walking away as the winners of this tournament.

Apart from this five teams have made their way through the PMPL - S1 2021: Brazil Finals which took place from April 23-25, featuring a total prize pool of $50,000. That event was won by A7 eSports as they walk into this tournament as one of the strongest teams from Brazil.

The PMPL - S1 2021: LATAM Finals which took place from May 21-23 witnessed five of the best teams from Latin America qualify for this tournament, after having secured the top-five slots of the $50,000 event.

Finally, we have The Unnamed who were the champions of the $122,000 event PMPL - Fall Split 2020: Americas Finals, directly made it into the tournament.

PMPL Americas Championship 2021: Format

The 16 qualified teams will be going up against each other in the Squad TPP (Third Person Perspective) game mode, playing a total of 24 matches spread across four days from June 17-20. Each day six matches will be played across different maps, with the team standing on top of the points table at the end of the last match being declared as the winners of PMPL S1 2021: Americas Championship.

The tournament will be featuring a total prize pool of $150,000 but it is currently unknown how this will be further divided between the 16 competing teams. Maybe as the tournament progresses the organizers will release this information.

As teams from various different regions will be participating in the upcoming PUBG Mobile tournament, the event will be broadcasters in multiple languages across different streaming platforms.

  • The English broadcast will take place on both YouTube and Facebook.
