With the close of Soldier’s Tale, comes Call of Duty Mobile Season 2: Lunar Dragon. With the new season come new weapons; a melee Spear and the Type 19 AR (Assault Rifle). Along with the new melee Spear, will come a new battle royale class and a free Legendary for Call of Duty (COD) Mobile players globally. The new season of Call of Duty Mobile celebrates the Chinese New Year. Call of Duty Mobile Season 2: Lunar Dragon went live on 7th February 2024. Spear in Call of Duty Mobile Season 2: Lunar Dragon
The Spear melee is not unlockable through either the free or the premium pass tiers. It is available as part of the Featured Challenges. While some regions already have the challenge unlocked, others will have to wait till Saturday, 24th February 2024. The Imperial Armory is one of the Seasonal Store features of the season and will run till Wednesday, 13th March 2024. Once Imperial Armory goes live, players will be able to grind out S2 Mission Tokens. You can exchange these tokens for rewards during the event of the S2 Seasonal Store.
You will need to exchange 15 S2 Mission Tokens to unlock Spear in Call of Duty Mobile. The Spear’s in-game description reads, “This traditional melee was favored by warriors throughout history and is known for its diverse attack styles in the field, prioritizing improved practicality and power with modern reproductions.”

Along with the unlockable secondary melee comes Long Yun and Spear Melee Blueprint. Long Yun appears in this Lucky Draw in elegant warrior garb alongside his faithful Spear — Striking Azure. Players can also unlock the Type 19 Assault Rifle for free during the season.
Type 19 AR: New unlockable weapon in Call of Duty Mobile
The new Lunar Dragon season features new weapons including the Type 19 Assault Rifle (AR) and a melee Spear. The Type 19 AR is the first unique weapon for the mobile title. You can get the Type 19 AR in Call of Duty Mobile by reaching Tier 21 in the Season 2: Lunar Dragon Free Battle Pass. Players will also get a Mythic Weapon Blueprint for the Type 19.
