With the close of Soldier’s Tale, comes Call of Duty Mobile Season 2: Lunar Dragon. With the new season comes a new weapon; the Type 19 AR. Along with the new Assault Rifle (AR), will come a new battle royale class and a free Legendary for COD: Mobile players globally. The new season of Call of Duty Mobile celebrates the Chinese New Year. Call of Duty Mobile Season 2: Lunar Dragon will go live in a few days and you’ll be able to claim your Type 19 AR soon. Type 19 AR: New weapon in Call of Duty Mobile

The new Lunar Dragon season features new weapons including the Type 19 Assault Rifle (AR) and a melee Spear. The Type 19 AR is the first unique weapon for the mobile title. While the official weapon stats will be available only on release, Leakers On Duty has tweeted out weapon specs. If the stats remain unchanged upon release, the Type 19 AR has a base damage of 28 along with a fire rate of 75, which is quite high for an AR:

• Fire Rate: 75

• Accuracy: 54

• Mobility: 83

• Range: 53

• Control: 50

Note that these stats may be subject to change before the season goes live. 

How to unlock Type 19 AR in Call of Duty Mobile

You can get the Type 19 AR in Call of Duty Mobile by reaching Tier 21 in the Season 2: Lunar Dragon Free Battle Pass. The Battle Pass will go live once the season debuts.

Call of Duty Mobile: Season 2 Lunar Dragon Release Date

The new season 2 Lunar Dragon will go live in Call of Duty: Mobile on 7th February at 4:00 PM PT. It will go live on 8th February at 12:00 AM GMT / 5:30 AM IST / 8:00 AM SGT.

Players will also get a Mythic Weapon Blueprint for the Type 19. The season also features a new secondary, a melee spear and is also getting a brand new Battle Royale class. The Jet Boost Battle Royale class is already hailed as overpowered by the pre-release testing community. The device lets players wall-run, jet-slide and jet-jump.
