Activision recently lauched Season 6: The Heat for Call of Duty: Mobile (COD Mobile) on 29th July, bringing with it a lot of new content and events. While some of it has already been released, a lot of it is announced but will be published later on as the season progresses. One of the biggest event which is a part of COD Mobile - Season 6 is the upcoming Aether Hunt event which is scheduled to go on for a few weeks, offering players attractive rewards and a lot of missions to complete. COD Mobile Aether Hunt event: Complete details
The upcoming Aether Hunt COD Mobile event is one of the highlights of the Season 6: The Heat. Though not a lot of detail about it has been officially revealed, there is a lot of information that we have obtained through data leaks.
Release Date
As per the in-game countdown and the official announcement made by Activision, the Aether Hunt event will release on 5th August, 05:00 PM PT (05:30 AM IST).
For this event the developers have created a whole separate section in the game, so that players can locate and navigate through it easily. The end date for this event has not been officially revealed so far but it is expected to last for a few weeks.
How To Play
As part of the Aether Hunt event, players will be required to complete daily missions and objectives to gain event-specific in-game items, which they will then be able to redeem for items and other rewards.
In this COD Mobile event, every players' objective will be to collect Aether by exploiting these things called ores. They are further divided into two different categories - Yellow Ores and Purple Ores.
The Yellow Ores are the basic ones, containing a typical amount of Aether.
The Purple Ores on the other hand contain more radiation due to which they offer more amount of Aether.
Players will be able to obtain these ores by completing daily event tasks which will be refreshed on a daily basis. Apart from this, players can also complete one-time challenges to earn such ores. Since Aether is a highly volatile substance, the output from every ore is random with the Purple awarding more than the Yellow ones.
Players, in order to gain more Aether from these ores, can equip certain specific weapon sets from their loadout, which eventually results in improved output from every single extraction.
Once enough quantity of these ores have been collected, players can extract them at the event page and claim their rewards.

The missions related to the event have not been announced officially. The ones listed below are based on the data leaked by the miner 'CODM Leaks', so do take them with a pinch of salt.
Daily Tasks
Complete three matches in any mode.
Win 5 matches in any mode.
Daily Login for Aether Hunt.
Kill 50 zombies in Undead Siege.
Win 1 match in Undead Siege Hard.
Earn 1 MVP title in MP matches.
Repair Armor 5 times in BR matches.
Achieve one triple kill in MP matches.
Win 1 BR match.
One Time Challenges
Headshot 50 times in any mode.
Rescue teammates ten times in Undead Siege - Hard.
Complete 20 MP ranked matches with a K/D ratio over or equal to 1.
Mainline Tasks
Break 3 Aether Crystals in Undead Siege Hard.
Kill one zombie in Undead Siege - Hard with a Molotov Cocktail.
Drive 100 meters in Undead Siege Hard.
Upgrade a turret to the max level in Undead Siege - Hard.
Kill three zombies with a vehicle in Undead Siege - Hard.
For now, there is no information regarding the rewards that players will be able to achieve by participating in the Aether Hunt event.
However, this being the main event of COD Mobile - Season 6 and players having to put in a considerable amount of time to grind through the daily missions and other objectives, we can assume that the rewards must be of significant value.
