COD Mobile Aether Hunt Event Goes Live: Missions, Rewards, Expert Tips, More

Activision recently lauched Season 6: The Heat for Call of Duty: Mobile (COD Mobile) on 29^th July, bringing with it a lot of new content and events. While some of it has already been released, a lot of it is announced but will be published later on as the season progresses. One of the biggest events which is a part of COD Mobile - Season 6 is the Aether Hunt event which went live earlier today on 5^th August, offering players attractive rewards for which they have to grind through a lot of missions.

Here are all the event details including what rewards players can expect from it, as you fight back the horde and collect the invaluable Aether.

COD Mobile Aether Hunt Event: Complete Details

One of the highlights of COD Mobile - Season 6, the Aether Hunt event is finally live and players can now start their grind to get their hands on the valuable Aether.

Aether Hunt Event Information

In this event, players will have to complete certain tasks by playing the new Undead Siege mode, Multiplayer, and Battle Royale to collect something known as ore which contain a substance called Aether.

There are two types of ores that players can gather,

• The standard Yellow Ore is acquired by completing daily tasks in Muliplayer and Battle Royale game modes.

• The more valuable Purple Ore is acquired by completing the main tasks in the new Undead Siege game mode.

As purple ore gives more Aether, it is a more lucrative way of acquiring the valuable substance. So make sure you play Undead Siege and complete the main tasks, making every run count by collecting as much of it as possible.

Players, in order to gain more Aether from these ores, can equip certain specific weapon sets from their loadout, which eventually results in improved output from every single extraction. Once enough quantity of these ores have been collected, players can extract them at the event page and claim their rewards.

Aether Hunt Event Rewards

More the amount of ores players can grind, the more aether they will collect, and more the number of rewards they will be able to unlock. The rewards which are a part of this event are as follows,

• The zombified Richtofen – Turned Operator Skin

• Rhe FR .556 – Undead Watcher

• Weapon Blueprints

• Vehicle Skins from the Horde and Infected Series

• The Sticker – Crack Skull

• Charm – Zombie Head

Aether Hunt Event Tips

1. Get the more valuable purple ore by playing the new game mode Undead Siege. Not only will you earn Aether at a faster rate by playing Undead Siege, but you will also progress through the new game mode’s unique 25+ grindable rewards effectively killing two birds with one shot.

2. Richtofen’s Main Tasks are more challenging than the event’s Daily Tasks, and they are sequential, too. Check back with the doctor between matches so you know exactly what he needs from you in the next deployment.

3. Between matches you can spend earned Aether to permanently upgrade your abilities via Talents. Talents come in five varieties: Turret Weapon, Turret Armor, Weapon Upgrade, Toughness, and Advanced Tools. Each offers its own advantages, with ten levels in each category. The more Talents you have, the better your chances against the horde.

Aether Hunt Event Missions

The missions related to the event have not been announced officially. The ones listed below are based on the data leaked by the miner 'CODM Leaks', so do take them with a pinch of salt.

Daily Tasks

• Complete three matches in any mode.

• Win 5 matches in any mode.

• Daily Login for Aether Hunt.

• Kill 50 zombies in Undead Siege.

• Win 1 match in Undead Siege Hard.

• Earn 1 MVP title in MP matches.

• Repair Armor 5 times in BR matches.

• Achieve one triple kill in MP matches.

• Win 1 BR match.

One Time Challenges

• Headshot 50 times in any mode.

• Rescue teammates ten times in Undead Siege - Hard.

• Complete 20 MP ranked matches with a K/D ratio over or equal to 1.

Mainline Tasks

• Break 3 Aether Crystals in Undead Siege Hard.

• Kill one zombie in Undead Siege - Hard with a Molotov Cocktail.

• Drive 100 meters in Undead Siege Hard.

• Upgrade a turret to the max level in Undead Siege - Hard.

• Kill three zombies with a vehicle in Undead Siege - Hard.

For now, there is no information regarding the end date of the Aether Hunt event. However, this being the main event of COD Mobile - Season 6 and players having to put in a considerable amount of time to grind through the daily missions and other objectives, we can assume that it will comfortably last for a few weeks.
