One such issue you may face in the mobile game is the Loading Timeout error. It may occur for players with network issues. Here is all you need to know about how to fix the Loading Timeout error in Call of Duty: Mobile.

What causes the Loading Timeout error in COD Mobile?

The Loading Timeout error in Call of Duty: Mobile may be caused by network connection issues. Players using public IP addresses will likely run into this error. You may also face this error if you have not updated the game on iOS or Android. Corrupted data in the app cache or outdated versions of the game can also cause this issue.

How to fix Loading Timeout error in COD Mobile on Android and iOS

Android users can fix the Loading Timeout error by changing their mobile network settings:

  • Open the device settings and choose Sim and Networks settings.

  • Change the preferred network type to 2G or 3G from 4G (VOLTE) and then switch back to 4G.

  • Afterward, switch on your cellular data and run the game.

  • Make sure your game is up to date by checking for updates in the Google Play and Apple App stores.

  • Another possible fix for this error is to clear the game’s cache. Android users can navigate to their settings and clear cache.

If these don’t work, you can try installing a VPN and activating it before logging into the game. Download a trusted VPN app and run it. This will route your connection through its more stable servers. Depending on your routing, this may help resolve the connectivity issues with game servers. You only need to run the VPN while trying to get into the game. Once you’re in, you can tab out of the game and close the VPN. Call of Duty: Mobile should still run smoothly.

If none of this works, try repairing your game. After you open the app, you should find the option to Repair the game. This is on the right-hand side of the login screen. Select this, and the game will repair itself, relaunch, and ask you to log in. That’s all you need to know about how to fix the Loading Timeout error in Call of Duty: Mobile.
