BGMI Tournament Registration: How To Register Third Party Events On BGMI Site

Tournament organizers will need to fill out the form on the BGMI esports website to host an event.

BGMI was launched on 2nd July 2021, to over 16 million active daily users playing the game during the initial weeks. Soon after, Battlegrounds Mobile India Series 2021 (BGIS), the first in the series, was announced by KRAFTON. Other tournament organizers are looking to hold tournaments and for them, BGMI has added a feature to register third-party events and tournaments which will require organizers to fill out a detailed form. This will let KRAFTON keep a tab on tournaments for player and organization safety and process fairness. In this article, we’ll see how you can register your event on the BGMI official site.

How to register third party events on BGMI official site?

To set up a third party event for Battlegrounds Mobile India, users will need to:

1. Go to the official third party tournament tab on the BGMI esports website here.

2. Here you will need to fill out three sections:

Event host details

Fill out all the details about the person/organization hosting the event.

Tournament details

Currently, the only available event format is to have it online.

Sponsor details

Make sure you read all the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy documents before you click submit.

How to register for Battlegrounds Mobile India Series 2021 (BGIS)

Registrations for the tournament starting on 2nd Aug 2021 to 10th Oct 2021, are still ongoing. Players who want to participate can head to the BGMI esports website to register their team. Make sure to sign up within the next three days before registrations close.

Registrations for BGIS will close in three days.

BGIS features a prize pool of ₹100, 00,000 INR ($134,612 USD). In-game qualifiers will start on 2nd August and end on August 8, 2021. Each team will play 15 matches and the top 1024 teams will qualify for the Online-Qualifiers. The top 64 teams of those will then battle it out in the Quarter-Finals, with 48 to be put into Losers Bracket, and 16 to advance directly to the Semi-finals.

The top 8 teams from the Losers Bracket will then join the 16 for the Semi-finals. The top 16 from these 24 teams will then play in the Grand Finals starting 7th October. These teams will play a total of 20 matches over four days to be crowned champions of the first-ever BGIS.

The winners of BGIS 2021 will receive ₹50,00,000 INR ($67,306 USD) with second place receiving ₹25,00,000 INR ($33,653 USD). Player awards will also be distributed including MVP, The Lone Ranger, and The Redeemer.
