Desert Tornado
Khaleed accumulates Desert Power while moving and after Desert Power is fully charged, Khaleed will slide on the sand, increasing his Movement Speed by 25% and enhancing his next Basic Attack. Khaleed's enhanced Basic Attack dashes to the target and raises a wave of surging sand, dealing (+160% Total Physical Attack) Damage to the target and enemies behind them. Khaleed's enhanced Basic Attack will also leave a sand pool where Khaleed increases his Movement Speed by 25% on the sand pool while his enemies are slowed by 25% on it.

This is Khaleed’s core damaging skill. Khaleed whirls his scimitar, dealing 250 / 310 / 370 / 430 / 490 / 550 (+120% Total Physical Attack) Damage to nearby enemies. Upon hitting the enemy, Khaleed can leap in the movement direction and automatically cast the skill again, being able to cast the skill a maximum of 3 times scaling in 20% damage with each cast. This skill also deals 50% more damage to minions and creeps.

Quicksand Guard

Khaleed protects himself with the power of quicksand, restoring 60 / 75 / 90 / 105 / 120 / 135 + 5% / 6% / 7% / 8% / 9% / 10% of lost HP, gaining 50% / 54% / 58% / 62% / 66% / 70% Damage Reduction and gaining 10 Desert Power every 0.5 second. While channelling, quicksand appears under his feet, slowing enemies near him by 30%

Raging Sandstorm

Khaleed summons a sandstorm and rushes toward a designated place, gaining Control Immunity and dealing 150 / 225 / 300 (+80% Extra Physical Attack) Damage to enemies on the path and knocking them back slightly. Upon arriving at the destination, Khaleed quakes the ground, dealing 500 / 650 / 800 (+160% Total Physical Attack) Damage to enemies within the area and stuns them for 1 second.

Khaleed’s Build

For Khaleed, players need to build a combination of damage and sustainability. Warrior boots are good for some initial defence during the early game. Endless Battle or Bloodlust Axe are both good for lifesteal and CD reduction. If you’re falling behind in gold, a Bloodlust Axe into defensive items like Immortality or Athena’s Shield or Wings of Apocalypse will add to your sustainability. Bloodlust Axe is cheaper than Endless Battle and comes with a decent amount of damage. Endless Battle into Blade of Despair will add to your damage and give you more lifesteal. Close out with a Blade of Hepateses for that extra power-packed punch.

Emblems and Battle Spells

Use this emblem if you want to deal damage and focus on farming. Set up with:

  • CD reduction +3
  • Physical PEN +3
  • Bounty Hunter (in the last to gain more gold per kill)

Flicker is the great battle spell for Khaleed to catch up in chases or make a swift exit. Retribution, Execute, Arrival and Vengence can also be used based on playstyle.

Playstyle and Positioning

Khaleed has sufficient durability due to his Quicksand Guard skill that can replenish Khaleed's HP and reduce the opponent’s damage reduction when attacked in Quicksand Guard mode.  The movement speed that Khaleed has due to his passive can make Khaleed's rotation faster so he can help other lanes. Khaleed's early damage is also high with a complimentary passive called Sand Walk which increases basic attack damage. Khaleed's ultimate skill, Raging Storm, is also suitable for initiations, opening up possibilities for chain CC and ultimate combos with teammates.

In the early game, clear the offlane minions to get to level 2 quicker. Try to make aggressive plays at the start to snowball and buy that Endless Battle. Grab a Gold Crab and try to look for ganks on low health enemies. In the mid-game target towers and look to pick up kills on low health enemies. Look to solo push as Khaleed gets his damage spike in mid-game. Late game Khaleed is strong but make sure you grab some defensive items. Stay close to your tank and look to trap enemies in your ultimate.
