Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS 2021)

Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS 2021) is the first edition in this series featuring a grand prize pool of 1,00,00,000 Indian Rupee. This tournament is open for all to participate out of which only 16 teams will qualify for the grand final. The Grand Final of the BGIS 2021 will be held from 13th January 2022 till 16th January 2022. The Winner of the series will qualify for PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC 2021). The Tournament is organized by KRAFTON and is sponsored by iQOO.

BGIS 2021 Format
In-game Qualifiers: 4th December - 8th December 2021
- Open for all.
- In-game qualifiers will be held to determine the contenders for the online qualifiers.
- Every registered squad will be required to play 15 matches, out of which 10 best games will be taken into consideration for qualification.
- Top 1024 teams advance to Online-Qualifiers.
Online-Qualifiers: 16th December - 30th December 2021
- .A total of 1024 teams will qualify for the Online-Qualifiers.
- The Online-Qualifiers qualifiers have been divided into rounds of three(Round 1, 2 and 3).
- 32 teams will be invited for Round 3.
- 2 matches will be played in Round 1 & 2 and multiple teams will be eliminated with each round.
- 3 matches will be played in Round 3 and multiple teams will be eliminated.
- 64 teams advance to Quarter-Finals.
Quarter-Finals: 2nd January - 5th January 2022
- Total 64 teams will advance to the Quarter-Finals.
- These 64 teams will be divided into 4 groups
- Each group will play a total of 6 matches
- Top 6 teams from each group will qualify for the Semi-Finals.
- 24 teams advance to Semi-Finals
Semi-Finals: 7th January - 10th January 2022
- Total 24 teams will qualify for the Semi-Finals.
- These 24 teams will be divided into 3 groups
- The groups will face off against each other in a Round-Robin format.
- Each group will play a total of 6 Round Robins.
- 16 teams advance to Grand-Finals
Grand Finals: 13th January - 16th January 2022
- 16 Teams
- 20 matches to be played over a period of 4 days to determine the winner.
