The 2021 Honor of Kings Wold Champion Cup is the sixth installment in the series since its beginning in 2016. This year's prize pool was also raised from 32,000,000 CNY to 50,000,000 CNY. A total of 12 teams Hero Jiuling, AG Super Play, Douyu Gaming, Ghost Owl Gaming, eStar Pro, QG Happy, Top Esports, Gank Gaming, Talent Gaming, Mighty Tiger Gaming, Rogue Warriors, and WanZhen Esports Club will participate in the tournament. Honor of Kings World Championship Cup Format
- Group Stage
Week 1: July 28th - August 1st, 2021
Week 2: August 4th - 8th, 2021. - All twelve teams are divided into two groups where they play in a Single Round Robin format.
- The KPL Spring Champion and the Highest Champion Cup Points team shall not be drawn into the same group.
- All 30 matches are played within 2 weeks in a Bo5 with Global Ban-Pick
- Top four teams in each group advance to the Knockout Stage
- Bottom two teams in each group are eliminated.
- Knockout Stage will be played through 2 cities
Quarterfinals: August 12th - 15th, 2021 in Shanghai, VSPN KPL Esports Studio
Semifinals: August 21st - 22nd, 2021 in Shanghai, VSPN KPL Esports Studio
Grand Final: August 28th, 2021 in Beijing, National Olympic Sports Center
