The recent reveals for Sparkle (Hanabi) and Black Swan have sent fans of Honkai Star Rail into a hype train, and just when you thought it couldn't get any better, leakers have added fuel to the flame and sped up the hype train. The latest leaks have revealed leaked images of characters suspected to be part of the 2.X update lineup. Duke Inferno's Reveal Through Leaks
Duke Inferno, a fiery demonic monster with characteristic horns and a flaming motif has just been leaked in Honkai Star Rail and will potentially be one of the characters released in the 2.x series of updates.. Although slightly blurred the leaked images of Duke Inferno depict a character wearing a crown similar to the Fetrora's Crown from "The Ashblazing Grand Duke" Relic set. While specifics about Duke Inferno's rarity and availability remain unknown, rumors abound in the community.
Penacony Leaks
The leak not only introduces Duke Inferno but also reveals information on the next Penacony characters. Players will explore a new planet with an architectural design reminiscent of old French cities when it launches in 2024. This new world will offer a plethora of new NPCs and interactions with them, a whole new explorable world with its own lore, and new enemies within it, as well as a completely new story for players to see the next chapter in the adventure of the Trailblazers.Aside from Duke Inferno, the leaked images also showcase other Penacony characters like Aventurine, who dons a green dress and black jacket.
Looking Forward to Version 2.0
Honkai Star Rail version 1.6 is scheduled to be released on 27 December 2023, before the Penacony update. Trailblazers can expect an abundance of material, including Stellar Jades and a banner lineup including Ruan Mei and Dr. Ratio. Version 2.0, scheduled for release in early 2024, will include additional playable characters such as Black Swan and Acheron. For the additions to the four-star lineup, only Misha has been officially announced as of now as we wait for more leaks.
