Honkai Star Rail: Sparkle (Hanabi) and Misha Officially Revealed by Hoyoverse

Following the official reveal of Black Swan’s drip marketing, Hoyoverse has also revealed two other characters, Sparkle who is more commonly known as Hanabi, and Misha. According to the pattern of drip marketing and releases, the current wave of characters are the ones that will be released in version 2.0, alongside the release of Penacony. Hoyoverse Officially Reveals Hanabi (Sparkle) and Misha

Sparkle (Hanabi)

Sparkle wields the Quantum element and follows the Path of Harmony in the game. This will be the first Element and Path combo in the game and will no doubt be an invaluable addition to Quantum mains' team compositions, delivering a dream mono Quantum lineup alongside Seele or Qingque as the main damage dealer with Fu Xuan and Silver Wolf.

Described as “A member of the Masked Fools. Inscrutable and unscrupulous. A dangerous master of theatrics engrossed in playing roles. A woman of countless masks and many faces. Wealth, status, power... None of this matters to Sparkle. The only thing that can lure her interest is ‘amusement.’"

Notably, Sparkle's voice will be brought to life by Lizzie Freeman in the English dub, Reina Ueda in the Japanese dub, Zhào Shuǎng in the Chinese dub, and Sung Yewon in the Korean dub, creating a multicultural and immersive experience for players.

Misha

Misha will be a playable character who uses the Ice element and in the Path of Destruction. He will also be a unique Element and Path combo in the game and might provide players with an approachable 4-star character option who has the potential to be a reliable damage dealer. Misha's character growth is likely to play a big role in the Penacony tale as it unfolds.

Described as “A lovable and thoughtful bellboy of The Reverie Hotel. He wishes to become an intergalactic adventurer like his grandfather. He is extremely hardworking and is skilled at fixing a variety of machines. He also had a fondness for sharing interstellar rumors with guests. He hopes he can grow up faster and looks forward to embarking on his own star-treading journey.”

The English dub for Misha will be voiced by Cat Protano, with Eriko Matsui, Liǔ Zhīxiāo, and Bak Sin Hee providing their talents for the Japanese, Chinese, and Korean dubs, respectively.

The revelation of Sparkle and Misha follows the recent teaser of Black Swan, another 5-star character set to make her debut in version 2.0 alongside Hanabi. With these character reveals, players can expect their new journey into Penacony with the release of Version 2.0 to provide fresh content and an exciting story with a new cast of characters.
