Boothill is an upcoming Physical Hunt character to debut in Honkai Star Rail patch 2.2.
He will arrive alongside Robin in May 2024.

Boothill is a brand new character coming to Honkai Star Rail in version 2.2, expected to be released around May 2024. He is one of the Galaxy Rangers and might be associated with Acheron. Here's what we know about him so far including his leaked kit, backstory and release date.

Whos is Boothill in Honkai: Star Rail?

A cyborg cowboy drifting among the stars. Extremely optimistic and unrestrained. He is a member of the Galaxy Rangers who swore to punish the wretched by any and all means... His flamboyant and brash actions were all to draw the attention of the Interastral Peace Corporation — the target of his revenge.

He might have connections to Acheron since they are from the same faction but we do not have a lot of information about him yet since he is yet to show up in a Trailblaze mission.

Boothill's Kit in Honkai: Star Rail

NOTE: This is subject to change and might not be 100% correct.

His skill triggers a "duel" mode against an enemy, if the enemy dies or is broken Boothill will gain an attack buff and a "bullet," but if the enemy attacks before either happens they will gain the attack buff instead. Once he reaches 5 bullets, his basic attack will be enhanced and shoot all bullets with each doing more damage and gains an extra turn.

His ultimate deals damage, increases break damage and delays the enemy turn which might make the enemy vulnerable to physical damage.

We will get more concrete information when the 2.2 beta kicks off.

When Will Boothill Release in Honkai: Star Rail?

Patch 2.2 is set to debut around 5th May 2024. Since he will be in the second-half banner, expect his banner to show up around the end of May 2024.
