Furina in Genshin Impact was introduced as an NPC who appears in Chapter 4 of the Archon Quests. Eventually, she was officially confirmed to be the vessel of Focalors, the Hydro Archon of Fontaine. She is usually very audacious and impractical and lives for the thrill of the courtrooms where she passes wild judgments that she doesn’t even mean. Neuvillette is tasked with constantly controlling her behavior in the courtroom to avoid any complications in the trials.
Currently, there are several rumors spreading online stating that the Hydro Archon will possibly adorn the banner in the 4.2 update of the game. She was already favored by many players of the game even though she’s just an NPC, so these rumors have led to many speculations regarding how she’ll be incorporated into the game. Furina’s Release Date in Genshin Impact?
According to the leaks, Furina is expected to be released in Genshin Impact 4.2. This might be true as it has officially been confirmed by the devs that the 4.1 update will only feature Wriothesley and Neuvillette and also that the Archon Quest in Fontaine will end with the release of the 4.2 update. We can possibly expect to see Furina as a playable character either during phase 1 of the patch which begins on 8th November or during phase 2 which begins on 29th November.
Furina Might Possibly Be a Sword User
Apart from being a 5-star Hydro, Focalors is also expected to be a sword user. A recent Reddit post by user qri_pretty on r/furinamains showcased a level 90 weapon that will apparently be wielded by the Hydro Archon. The rapier-styled weapon is named Final Judgement of Tears.

Passive: HP increased by 20%. When any character in the team triggers an elemental reaction, the wearer gains a 7% DMG bonus for all elements (can also trigger when the wearer is Off-field). Can trigger at max every 0,5 seconds, lasts for 6 seconds, and can stack up to 4 stacks. At max stacks, the HP of all teammates is increased by 20%.
It is important to keep in mind that this information has not been officially confirmed by Hoyoverse. It is possible that Furina might feature different stats when the 4.2 patch comes out so take all of this with a grain of salt.
