The Genshin Impact 3.8 update includes the highly anticipated Eula banner rerun, allowing Travellers the chance to get her. For gamers waiting to unlock Eula's potent Constellations or add her to their squad, this is undoubtedly a very exciting time.

After all, since the Cryo character was highlighted in the 2.8 update, HoYoverse hasn't published a new Eula banner. Thankfully, the time for her rerun has finally arrived even though all hopes may have been lost in waiting. In contrast, if you're debating whether to roll on the current banner and wonder whether Eula is worthwhile investing your Primogems in, our helpful guide has you covered.

Genshin Impact 3.8: Should you pull for Eula?

Eula is a fearsome 5-star Cryo Claymore wielding with a reputation as one of the game's top physical damage dealers. One of her distinguishing characteristics is that she does not rely greatly on amassing several constellations to reach her full potential. This is good news for gamers who wish to be frugal with their spending in the game. In Genshin Impact 3.8, these players have one more reason to desire Eula's Banner over Klee.

Should you Pull for Eula’s Constellations?

She’s very usable at C0 and really, she functions pretty well. The only thing you are really missing out on is extra damage (a lot of it though), and more fluidity in her combos. At C0 she can still keep 100% uptime on Pale Flame set albeit with tight timings. C1 is a huge boost to her damage, as you basically get permanent 30% increased physical damage as long as your attack rotation is solid. A good constellation for sure if you have the money. Her C2 constellation is a good QoL upgrade in many ways, and in fact, if you can afford it and really like Eula, C2 is a great stopping point.

C1 - Tidal Illusion: Every time Icetide Vortex's Grimheart stacks are consumed, Eula's Physical DMG is increased by 30% for 6s. Each stack consumed will increase the duration of this effect by 6s up to a maximum of 18s.

C2 - Lady of Seafoam: Decreases the CD of Icetide Vortex's Holding Mode, rendering it identical to Tapping CD.

C3 - Lawrence Pedigree: Increases the Level of Glacial Illumination by 3. The maximum upgrade level is 15.

C4 - The Obstinacy of One’s Inferiors: Lightfall Swords deal 25% increased DMG against opponents with less than 50% HP.

C5 - Chivalric Quality: Increases the Level of Icetide Vortex by 3. The maximum upgrade level is 15.

C6 - Noble Obligation: Lightfall Swords created by Glacial Illumination start with 5 stacks of energy. Normal Attacks, Elemental Skills, and Elemental Bursts have a 50% chance to grant the Lightfall Sword an additional stack of energy.

The value of Eula's pull before Fontaine is debatable, especially for inexperienced players. While she has some distinguishing characteristics and can be a strong physical DPS, her limits, lack of flexibility, and minor modifications since her last appearance make her less significant in the current meta. Before opting for Eula, players should carefully assess their priorities and available possibilities.
