Resident Evil 4 Remake: What Is Separate Ways DLC?

Resident Evil 4 Remake Separate Ways DLC features Ada Wong, who infiltrates a European village on orders from Albert Wesker and Luis Serra, who has vowed to help her find Amber.

In Resident Evil 4, Separate Ways was an unlockable expansion that gave players control of Ada Wong on her journey, which often crossed paths with Leon S. Kennedy and Luis Serra during the events of the main campaign in the base game.

In the original version, players were able to see what was going on behind the scenes, such as Ada ringing the Church bell that brings an end to the village’s attack on Leon, as well as preventing Jack Krauser from taking Leon’s life. Ada also secured the rocket launcher, which Leon uses in the game’s final battle.

With the new DLC, we’re going to see Ada equipped with a grappling gun as well as the weapons from the original game alongside the knife parry from Leon’s campaign in Resident Evil 4. Players can use Ada’s grappling gun to get new locations, take on enemies from a distance, and do range melee attacks. The studio says that Ada’s grappling gun will allow players a more exciting and fast-paced gameplay.

Resident Evil 4 Remake: Is the Separate Ways DLC Free?

Unfortunately, Separate Ways DLC is not free. It was free in the original Resident Evil 4, but not this time. A press release shortly after the DLC’s announcement confirmed that Separate Ways will be available at a cost of $9.99 USD.

The Resident Evil 4 Remake is out on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows PC, and Xbox Series X. If you’re looking for a survival horror game, you can’t go wrong with Resident Evil 4 Remake.
