In this quest, players embark on a mission to help an elderly man named Wenhua recover his Sumpter Beast from the Treasure Hoarders. Unlocking the Quest
To start the Chili Con Cloudy quest, players have two options. They can teleport to the Statue of The Seven near Qiaoying Village, heading southeast to find Wenhua at a camp seeking help. Or, players can head directly to the Treasure Hoarders' camp by teleporting to the waypoint east of Yaodie Valley in Liyue. Defeating the mobs in the area will automatically trigger the quest, introducing Wenhua and another NPC, Tusheng.
Rescuing the Sumpter Beast
Following the quest markers, players will uncover shiny spots on the ground, revealing dropped Mora from the captive Sumpter Beast, Yun. Defeating all Treasure Hoarders triggers a reunion cutscene between Wenhua and Yun. Interestingly, releasing Yun before dealing with all Treasure Hoarders allows the Sumpter Beast to assist players in the battle.
The Sumpter Beast Race
After the rescue, players are directed to Wenhua's camp, where the two Sumpter Beasts, Yun, and Chili, prepare for a lively race. The race unfolds with unexpected twists, culminating in a halt due to hunger. Tusheng offers Sunsettia to the beasts, leading to a heartwarming moment as both Sumpter Beasts enjoy the fruits.

To maximize the rewards, players should explore shiny spots on the ground along the quest marker. Releasing Yun before defeating all Treasure Hoarders allows the Sumpter Beast to assist in combat. Additionally, players can get an Exquisite Chest and valuable Liyue Reputation EXP by defeating the Treasure Hoarders for the first time in that location.
Swift Acceptance Achievement
The race's conclusion brings closure to the Chili Con Cloudy quest, rewarding players with 30 Primogems, 20,000 Mora, and the coveted Swift Acceptance achievement. Those defeating the Treasure Hoarders in this location for the first time also unlock an Exquisite Chest worth five Primogems.
