How to Start Threefold Expectations in Genshin Impact
The Threefold Expectations quest becomes available after completing the main quest in 4.4, "Chenyu’s Blessing of Sunken Jade." To initiate this quest, players must visit Qiaoying Village and speak to Uncle Luo. The quest begins with the concern over a malfunctioning tea cauldron, setting the stage for an adventure filled with puzzles and elemental mysteries.
Adjusting the Hydro Monument (West of Qiaoying Village)
Interact with the Hydro Monument, triggering the appearance of Hydro Slimes and a Lotus Lamp.
Defeat the Slimes and pick up the Lotus Lamp (T on the keyboard).
Light up all lotuses to activate the monument and complete the puzzle.
Adjusting the Anemo Monument (Southwest of Qiaoying Village)
Interact with the Anemo Monument, activating a wind current and spawning a floating platform.
Defeat Anemo Slimes near the platform.
Glide up through Golden Carp’s Leap to complete the puzzle.
Adjusting the Pyro Monument (South of Qiaoying Village)
Interact with the Pyro Monument, spawning a platform with a Jade Cauldron on top.
Use the Jade Cauldron to light up all censers.
Time the energy release from the Cauldron to light up all censers and complete the puzzle.

Return to Qiaoying Village and speak to Uncle Luo.
Interact with the tea cauldron and enter a domain with Slimes and a formidable Storm of the Eye.
Defeat the enemies to complete the trial and finalize the quest.
