Xiao is an Anemo DPS character in Genshin Impact who commands a lot of on-field time.
He works well with characters like Bennett and Faruzan and is capable of solid AOE damage.
He is worth pulling for if your account is lacking solid DPS options.

Xiao is an Anemo DPS unit in Genshin Impact who fits the role of “hypercarry.” His teams typically revolve around him dealing the most amount of damage while other units offer buffs, Anemo resistance shred, and defensive utility. He is a decent unit to go for and if you are considering pulling for him, here’s what you need to know about Xiao’s Talents, Constellations and Passives.

Genshin Impact Xiao: Should You Pull?

You should pull for Xiao if you like his playstyle. There are plenty of other characters like Wanderer, Eula and Arataki Itto who fit the hypercarry playstyle. His damage output is solid and he shines in situations where you can group multiple enemies into his burst’s range. Overall, we recommend pulling for him but only if you have well-invested supports for him.

Genshin Impact Xiao: Talents

Xiao’s kit is designed around his plunge attacks. He plunges from mid-air to strike the ground below, damaging opponents along the path and dealing AoE DMG upon impact. Xiao does not take DMG from performing Plunging Attacks.

Elemental Skill - Lemniscatic Wind Cycling: Xiao lunges forward, dealing Anemo DMG to opponents in his path.

  • Can be used in mid-air.

  • Starts with 2 charges.

Elemental Burst - Bane of All Evil: Xiao dons the Yaksha Mask that set gods and demons trembling millennia ago.

Yaksha's Mask

  • Greatly increases Xiao's jumping ability.

  • Increases his attack AoE and attack DMG.

  • Converts attack DMG into Anemo DMG, which cannot be overridden by any other elemental infusion.

  • In this state, Xiao will continuously lose HP.

  • The effects of this skill end when Xiao leaves the field.

  • Cooldown: 18 seconds

  • Duration: 15 seconds

  • Energy Cost: 70

Genshin Impact Xiao: Passives
