World of Warcraft Classic's Season of Discovery has introduced new gameplay elements, including the ability for Shamans to tank. Finding Desert Mirages

Desert Mirages are new mobs added to WoW Classic Season of Discovery. If you want to play the Shaman as a tank in WoW SoD then getting the Way of The Earth Rune is a must.

Desert Mirages are in The Barrens, west of Ratchet. They spawn randomly and might be difficult to locate. Look for green, phantom enemies in the area, particularly near the Kolkar Wrangler spawn point near The Stagnant Oasis. But be prepared to face competition, as many other Shamans will also be chasing them.

Defeating Desert Mirages

When you find a Desert Mirage, use your Purge ability to defeat it to get the Earthen Rune. It's best to be quick and aggressive, as other Shamans may also be looking for these slippery enemies.

After fighting a Desert Mirage, players may get the Earthen Rune, a rare item that allows Shamans to use the Way of Earth. This Rune improves the effectiveness of the Rockbiter Weapon boost by giving Shamans improved threat generation, health, damage mitigation, and a reduced chance of critical hits from melee strikes.
