World of Warcraft Guide: How Can You Get the Cyclopean Band Unique Item in Classic SoD?

Phase three of the Season of Discovery in World of Warcraft (WoW) Classic showcases numerous events and challenges that will grant you unique rewards upon completion. One such item is the Cyclopean Band which boosts all major status effects like Stamina, Spirit, and more. Due to its potential, it is considered one of the most well-rounded rings in the game, flexing for use with any type of build. Let’s cut to the chase and figure out how to get this elusive item in WoW.

Obtaining the Cyclopean Band in Wow Classic SoD

The Cyclopean Band in WoW can be acquired by participating in the Ring of Law event in the Blackrock Depths dungeon. The event requires you to defeat Ok’thor the Breaker, an ogre mini-boss who spawns during the event. Thankfully, this quest can be repeated several times without taking any penalties if you do not eliminate the ogre. 

If you are an Alliance player you can enter the Blackrock Depths dungeon by reaching the Thorium point in Searing Gorge or Morgan’s Vigil in Burning Steppes. Horde players on the other hand can reach this place by reaching Kargath in Badlands, the Flame Crest in Burning Steppes, and even through the Thorium point once again.

According to WoW Head, this item apparently has a 16% drop rate after successfully killing this mini-boss and will grant you the following buffs:

• +8 Stamina

• + 7 Intellect

• +4 Spirit

• Requires Level 49

As good as the Cyclopean Band is, we recommend you not to depend heavily on the buff it provides, as it only offers a slight enhancement to your build. If you are under level 55, you will find this item to be quite useful, however, you need to know that the game does contain more dependable items like the Seal of the Sacrificed or the Drakenclaw Band, that can be obtained by raiding the Sunken Temple.

Although you will acquire more powerful items at later stages, it is still worth it to raid the Blackrock Depths dungeon, as it acts as one of the best sources of resources and gear for phase three of SoD. If you happen to acquire the Cyclopean Band in the process, it will certainly be a nice addition to your build.
