Pokimane is one of the biggest female content creators and streamers on Twitch.
She recently revealed her departure from Twitch, a tie-up that lasted a decade.

After a decade of streaming and content creating on streaming platform Twitch, Imane “Pokimane” Anys has announced that she is leaving the platform. Pokimane is arguably one of the most followed streamers on Twitch and she was even the face of Twitch mobile on the Apple App Store.

On 30th January 2024, Pokimane took to Twitter to hint at her leaving Twitch after almost ten years. She tweeted, "The end of an era. Twitch has been my home for a decade.. but it's time to say thank you for all the memories and love during my League, Fortnite and Among Us days."

Now, the only question that is looming larger by the minute is about Pokimane's next stop. Fans are wondering if a Kick move is imminent. Here's all we know about where Pokimane will be streaming next.

Is Pokimane Joining Kick?

Following Pokimane's announcement, Twitch wrote, "What an incredible journey it’s been. We’re so proud of everything you’ve accomplished and what’s ahead in the future. You’ll always have a home on Twitch, Poki."

Now that the content creator is not affiliated with any particular platform, fans have noted that she could join a rival platform like Kick or YouTube soon. However, given her comments about Kick in the past, a YouTube move seems more likely.

Additionally, Kick also seemed to make fun of Pokimane's announcement about leaving Twitch. Kick quote-tweeted Poki and trolled her with an image of her cookie brand Myna, which was a hot topic of discussion a few months back.

Pokimane has been very critical of Kick, the Slate-backed platform in the past. Last year in June, during one of her livestreams, Poki was asked if she would consider a move to Kick if she was offered $10 Million USD. Brushing it off, she said, "And it’s not because I’ve got $10 million. It’s just because I am good as I am. Why would I compromise my morals and ethics for more money when I have money? Something about that is so cringe to me personally.

She said that she would understand moving to Kick if one needed to make money but added, "For me to do cringe sh*t when I have money, I can’t. Like, ew.

Through an Instagram story posted on her podcast page called Don't Tell Anyone, Pokimane wrote, "This is why the new upload was delayed, but don't worry. We'll yap all about it on the episode that comes out tomorrow."

So fans can look forward to hearing more details about Pokimane's contract with Twitch and if she would be making a move elsewhere very soon where the new podcast episode goes live.

While some speculate that Poki could move to YouTube, Rumble or Kick, there is also the possibility that she could explore multi-streaming without being exclusively tied to one platform.
