Gunfire Games’s second iteration of its critically acclaimed Remnant: From the Ashes has created huge expectations around its 25th July release date. Remnant 2 will follow the roots of its predecessor, continuing the post-apocalyptic setting where humanity was almost wiped out due to a mysterious interdimensional entity called Root. Remnant 2 will also carry over the co-op feature from the first game and allow you to party up with your friends. Remnant 2 hopes to improve upon the first game by introducing fluid mechanics and a seamless transition between weapon and melee combat. With the Remnant 2 early access period kicking off this week, here’s what you need to know about playing the game early.
Remnant 2 Early Access kicks off on 22nd June
Early access for Remnant 2 starts 3 days prior to its 25th July release date. Unfortunately, in order to obtain early access, players must purchase the Ultimate Edition of the game.

Upon Purchasing the Ultimate Edition of Remnant 2, players will also get several in-game rewards along with the game being available to them on 22nd July at 10 AM PT. players will get access to items such as:

The 3 armor packs mentioned above will also be available in the Deluxe Edition of Remnant 2. Players of Remant: From the Ashes would have noticed that the armor set is inspired by the first game. The Ultimate Edition will allow players to unlock the Gunslinger Archetype, which is fully equipped with 3 unique offense-based skill sets. Even though 3 DLC Packs have been mentioned in the list, details about their contents are yet to be revealed by Gunfire Games.
Remnant 2 certainly has a huge hype around it considering the fact that the first game sold over 3 million copies. Remnant 2 hopes to improve on several aspects of the first game by adding large-scale boss battles, an expanded archetype system, and an intuitive crafting and looting system. It also has a replayability factor now, considering its branching quest lines.
