Every year, a massive amount of fans gather for the annual HoYoFEST event that celebrated all HoYoverse titles like Genshin Impact, Honkai Star Rail, Honkai Impact 3rd, etc. HoYoFEST is considered to be a cafe collaboration which means fans get to participate in several offline activities that occur in several cafes around South East Asia. HoYoFEST started in 2020 and this year, they plan to further enlarge it by introducing several online and offline challenges. Even though it is unfortunate that this event only occurs across Asia, players from other parts of the world are free to participate in online events that HoYoFEST presents.
HoYoFEST 2023: Event Locations
HoYoFEST’s offline event officially starts on the 27th of July across several cafes in six different countries like Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, Philippines, and Singapore. The designated locations and dates for each of these regions have been announced. Here’s the list:
Indonesia: 27th July – 6th August, Mall Artha Gading, Jakarta
Vietnam: 27th July – 6th August, AEON MALL Tân Phú Celadon, TP Hồ Chí Minh
Malaysia: 1st August – 7th August, Tropicana Gardens Mall, Selangor
Thailand: 20th October – 22nd October, Location TBA
Philippines: 21st October – 29th October, Location TBA
Singapore: 24th November – 26th November, Location TBA
It is important to note that although the locations for Thailand, Philippines, and Singapore have not yet been announced, their dates are pretty accurate. We can expect to see the locations for these events to be announced very soon.
HoYoFEST is themed to replicate and celebrate their popular games such as Genshin Impact, Honkai Star Rail, Honkai Impact 3rd, etc. HoYoverse has attempted to make the event grander by introducing separate stations for all six of its titles. This means people who attend the event will get to enjoy Genshin Impact-themed food, buy exclusive Honkai Star Rail-themed merchandise, and participate in quiz shows and other activities inspired by these games. They will also get to take a look at their upcoming, highly anticipated title, Zenless Zone Zero.
HoYoFEST 2023: Online Events
The online events for HoYoFEST 2023 have already begun from the 10th of July and it will continue until the 31st of December. It features activities such as the HoYoFEST Performance Naming event and the HoYoFESt Card Sharing Web event. Upon completing the Card Sharing event, Players can redeem rewards such as 20,000 Mora for Genshin Impact.
All participants of the HoYoFEST Performance Naming event will receive:
HoYo FEST Genshin Impact KV themed HoYoLAB profile page background
300 randomly selected players will get 160 Primogems
100 randomly selected players will get a HoYo FEST-exclusive Genshin Impact chibi acrylic stand
It is important to note that these rewards can be redeemed only once per account.
