Community Day Classic events are the best way for trainers to acquire rare Pokémon and unique items.
For all the dragon trainers, the Bagon Community Day Classic event is on the way, and here's everything you need to know.

With Litten Community Day officially wrapped, Pokémon Go has finally revealed that Bagon will feature in the Community Day Classic event in April 2024. The event will allow players to encounter Bagon more frequently in the wild, and multiple bonuses will also be active. The Dragon-type Pokémon was last seen in a Community Day event held in 2019, and for those who’ve missed out, this is a perfect opportunity to get one of the best Dragon types in the game.

Pokémon Go Bagon Community Day Classic Revealed

There’s no doubt that Pokémon Community Day events are the best opportunities for trainers to catch new pocket monsters and encounter their shiny versions. Community Day Classic events often serve as reruns of previous Community Day events, allowing trainers to capture monsters they might’ve missed out on in the past. Evolving the event featured Pokémon in a limited-time window gives an exclusive move, which is incredibly useful in raids and gym battles.

The Pokémon Go Bagon Community Day Classic event will take place on 7th April 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM local time. The Dragon-type Pokémon will spawn more frequently, increasing the chances of encountering the shiny version. During the Community Day Classic event and up to two hours afterward, trainers who evolve Shelgon will unlock a Salamence that knows the Charged Attack Outrage

Players can also look forward to additional bonuses during the event –

  • 3x XP for Catching Pokémon

  • Incense activated lasts for three hours

  • Lure Modules last for three hours

  • Take Snapshots during the event for a surprise

Community Day field research tasks will also be available for players during the event. Completing these tasks and catching Bagon will get players more encounters, stardust, and other valuable items. A Bagon Community Day Classic exclusive Special Research story will give trainers additional rewards for progressing. The Special Research story will cost $1 and can be sent as a gift to other trainers.

Players who participate in PokeStop showcases will also receive more rewards during the event. If you want to restock your supply of Poke Balls and Incubators, you can purchase exclusive event bundles from Pokémon Go’s web store or the in-game shop. A Community Day Classic Box will be available during the event, containing x120 Ultra Balls, x15 Silver Pinape Berries, x6 Incubators, and x1 Incense for $9.99.
