What are Pokémon Go Spotlight Hours?

During these Spotlight hours, the featured Pokémon appear more frequently in the wild. While the featured Pokémon spawns more frequently during Spotlight hours, other Pokémon will still appear in the game.                                                                                                                           

They take place every Tuesday between 6:00 pm and 7:00 pm local time. What spotlight hours essentially entail is highlighting a different Pokémon every day. Catching these will guarantee excessive rewards and bonuses for the player. The Pokémon featured this month are as follows:

  1. Slowpoke - 3rd October - 2× Candy for Transferring Pokémon

  2. Shroomish - 10th October - 2× XP for evolving Pokémon

  3. Pumpkaboo - 17th October - 2× Stardust for catching Pokémon

  4. Phantump - 24th October - 2× XP for catching Pokémon

  5. Yamask - 31st October - 2× Candy for catching Pokémon


What are Pokémon Go Raid Hours?

Raid Hour is an hour-long global event in Pokémon Go where one particular Pokémon or a group of Pokémon appears more frequently in Raids. Raid Hours could feature new, rare, Legendary, or Mythical Pokémon as Raid Bosses, sometimes with exclusive moves. During Raid Hours in the game, Raid battles are more frequent and highly likely to occur. It features a specific Pokémon during the raid. 

These are one-hour mini-events that take place on Wednesdays between 6:00 pm and 7:00 pm local time. While Raid Hours do not provide direct rewards, partaking in these Raids will definitely equip you with enough XP and skill training that you will be able to gather any reward you want. 

The Pokémon featuring this event are as follows:

  1. Entei, Suicune, and Raikou - 4th October

  2. Guzzlord - 11th October

  3. Guzzlord - 18th October

  4. Darkrai - 25th October
