Who doesn’t like collecting Fairy-type Pokémon in Pokémon Go? They’re some of the rarest and most unique Pokémon in the game.
For many trainers, catching the adorable Sylveon can be a top priority. Added to the game on 25th May 2021, Sylveon stands as one of the many Eevee evolutions. Only a few Pokémon can outshine this Eeveelution, and it’s a great choice for new trainers to step up their PvP game. If you want to get your hands on Sylveon, you need to rename your Eeevee before evolution or by hitting certain friendship milestones. To help you, here’s our guide on evolving Eevee and getting Sylveon in Pokémon Go.
Pokémon Go: How to Evolve Eevee to Sylveon with Nickname Trick?
You can evolve your Evee to Sylveon with a name trick, and here’s how you can do it –
If you don’t have one already, go and catch an Evee.
Change your Eevee’s name to ‘Kira.’
Use 25 Eevee Candy and click on the ‘Evolve’ Button.
Your Eevee will now evolve into Sylveon.
It should be noted that this method to evolve Eevee to Slyveon can only be used once per account. While it’s a useful way to fill out your Pokedex pages, it may fall short for players who are looking to get one with the perfect stats for Pokémon Go’s Battle League. However, there’s another trick through which you can get a Sylveon.
Pokémon Go: How to Get Sylveon with Buddy Hearts?
Once you’ve used the nickname trick, the only remaining way to get a Sylveon is to make your Eevee your buddy and get 70 friendship hearts with it.
Pokémon Go allows you to obtain hearts with your Buddy Pokémon. Just tap the trainer’s profile on the bottom left of the screen and the Buddy button, and you can now select your Pokémon companion!
Once you’ve made the desired Eevee your buddy, you have to do the following –
Go and get 70 hearts
You can only get 12 hearts in a day. It’ll take you at least six days to get 70 hearts.
Feed your Eevee a Poffin to increase your hearts earned per day
Once you’ve hit the 70 hearts mark, evolve your Eevee to Syveon by giving it 25 Eevee candies.
There’s also a chance that you might run into a wild Sylveon. However, it’s somewhat uncommon to find evolved Pokémon in Pokémon Go. The highest chance of encountering one is in an area that is currently experiencing cloudy weather.
And that’s how you can get a Sylveon in Pokémon Go. Be sure to follow us as we’ll update you on the latest Pokémon Go news, updates, and guides.
