How to prepare for Pokémon Go Community Day
You’re more likely to catch a Shiny of the featured Pokemon on Community Day so save your incense and lures for the day. You’ll also get bonus Field Research tasks so you can keep some time aside for them. Look for a set of PokeStops close to each other so you can easily set up Lures in one or more and catch as many Pokemon as you can. You can also use specific lures like Glacial Lure, Mossy Lure or Magnetic Lure Modules to catch certain types. These specialized Lure Modules cost 200 PokéCoins from the in-game shop.
Stocking up on Pinap Berries as well as Great and Ultra Balls will ensure you get a lot more Pokemon Candy from the event.
