The Pokemon Go December Community Day Event is just days away. Community Day events are great to catch up on Pokemon and Research you may have missed. Throughout the event, Pokemon featured in Community Day events in 2023 will appear more frequently in the wild and as reward encounters for Timed Research. Pokemon featured in Community Day events throughout 2022 will hatch from Eggs and appear in raids and as reward encounters for Timed Research. Let’s look at the featured Pokemon, Raids, Eggs and more that will be available during the Pokemon Go December Community Day Event.
Pokemon Go December Community Day Event Dates
The Pokemon Go December Community Day Event will be the last of the year and will start on Saturday, 16th December and end the next day on Sunday, 17th December 2023. The event will be live between 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. local time.
Community Day Event bonuses
Players will also get the following event bonuses during the upcoming community day:
2× XP for catching Pokemon.
1/2 Hatch Distance when Eggs are placed into Incubators during the event period.
2× chance for Trainers level 31 and up to receive XL Candy from catching Pokemon.
Incense (excluding Daily Adventure Incense) activated during the event will last for three hours.
2× Stardust for catching Pokemon.
2× Candy for catching Pokemon.
Lure Modules activated during the event will last for three hours.
One additional Special Trade can be made, for a maximum of two per day
Trades made during the event will require 50% less Stardust
Note that while most bonuses are only active on 16th and 17th December from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time, these bonuses will be active from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. local time on those days.
Featured Pokemon
A different set of Pokemon will be featured during each of the two community days. The Pokemon that appear during this time will have the same chance of appearing as a Shiny Pokemon as those that appeared during their original Community Days. Outside of these times, any of the featured Pokemon may appear from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. local time on either Saturday or Sunday. These Pokemon will be available on 16th December:
