Pokemon Go’s new Dazzling Dream event will go live in a few days. The Fairy-type Pokemon centric event will feature Cutiefly, Flabébé, and Swirlix and more. You will encounter a number of other Fairy-type Pokemon in both wild encounters and they can hatched through eggs as well. There are a number of Field Research tasks to complete as well as collection challenges heading to Dazzling Dream. Here is all you need to know about the Pokemon Go Dazzling Dream Event.

Pokemon Go Dazzling Dream Event

The Dazzling Dream Event will start on Saturday, 13th January 2024, at 10:00 a.m. and continue till Tuesday, 16th January 2024, at 8:00 p.m. local time. 

Dazzling Dream Event Bonuses

The following bonuses will be in effect during the Dazzling Dream event:

  • 2 x Stardust for catching Pokemon

  • 2 x Stardust for hatching Pokemon

Wild encounters

The following Pokemon will appear more frequently in the wild.

  • Clefairy*

  • Jigglypuff*

  • Marill*

  • Snubbull*

  • Cottonee*

  • Red Flower Flabébé (Europe, the Middle East & Africa only)

  • Blue Flower Flabébé (Asia-Pacific region only)

  • Yellow Flower Flabébé (The Americas only)

  • White Flower Flabébé

  • Orange Flower Flabébé

  • Spritzee*

  • Swirlix*

  • Dedenne*

  • Cutiefly*

  • Morelull*

  • Togetic*

Pokemon Go Dazzling Dream Event wild encounters.

Pokemon marked with an * may appear as shiny. Also, for the first time in Pokemon Go, you’ll be able to encounter Shiny Cutiefly.

Flabébé with differently colored flowers will be appearing in the wild depending on where you are in the world:

  • Red Flower Flabébé: Appearing in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa

  • Blue Flower Flabébé: Appearing in the Asia-Pacific region

  • Yellow Flower Flabébé: Appearing in the Americas

If you’re lucky, you might encounter White Flower Flabébé and Orange Flower Flabébé, no matter what region you’re in.

Pokemon Go Dazzling Dream Event Eggs

The following Pokemon will hatch from 7 km Eggs:

  • Togepi*

  • Spritzee*

  • Swirlix*

  • Cutiefly*

Additionally, Cutiefly will have a greater chance of being Shiny when hatched from Eggs than found in the wild.

Pokemon Go Dazzling Dream Field Research & Collection Challenges

While specific Field Research and Collection Challenge tasks for the event have not yet been announced, we do know what Pokemon will be available for completing them.

  • Alolan Vulpix*

  • Spritzee*

  • Swirlix*

  • Cutiefly*

  • Mawile*

  • Carbink

Pokemon marked with an * may appear as shiny

Players can also get Mega Energy for the following:

  • Mega Gardevoir

  • Mega Altaria

Players will receive the following for completing the Dazzling Dream Collection Challenges:

  • XP

  • Stardust

  • Carbink encounter
