Every month, PlayStation Plus subscribers get access to a variety of games, adding to its massive catalog, containing games from all genres. For September, we saw games like Saints Row, Black Desert, and Generation Zero available for both the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4. For the upcoming month, Sony has already unveiled their line-up of games that can be played starting from 3rd October. These games will be available on the three tiers of service; Premium, Extra, and Essential. Without further ado, let’s jump right in and take a look at these titles.
PlayStation Plus Monthly Games for October
Similar to the previous month, players get access to three new games, all of which will be available on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4. Here are the games:
The Callisto Protocol: Considering the spooky season of October, Sony has aptly added this title to the list. This narrative-driven horror is set 300 years in the future where you play as Jacob Lee, a victim who is thrown into Black Iron Prison located on Jupiter’s moon Callisto. All hell breaks loose when your fellow in-mates mutate into monstrous creatures. You must survive the outbreak and uncover the mysterious secrets hidden underneath Callisto’s surface.
Farming Simulator 2022: If you are looking for a no-frills simulation game about farming, look no further than Farming Simulator. You take on the role of a modern farmer equipped with 400 machines and tools from 100 different well-known agricultural brands such as John Deere, Valtra, Massey Ferguson, and more.
Weird West: This isometric action RPG developed by WolfEye Studios showcases a fictional Wild West-type world where you take on the role of five unique characters who are gunslingers and lawmen. You will get to play through every character’s plot, where your actions will have dire consequences, including death. All the stories of these characters will converge at the end, making for a unique narrative style.
As mentioned above, players can access these games starting from 3rd October until 6th November, which means 2nd October is the last day you have access to the current line-up. Although these three titles are available across all tiers of service, there will also be new game releases for members who opted for the Premium and Extra PS Plus subscriptions, starting from 11th October
