Palworld, the popular survival-crafting game, has just rolled out its most important update yet, introducing players to its first Raid Boss, Bellanoir. This new and strong enemy is designed to be the most challenging fight in Palworld to date and can be summoned using slabs at the new Summoning Altar. Here’s everything you need to know about the latest Palworld Raid Update.
How and Where to Fight Bellanoir
Players will need to be around level 40 to face Bellanoir, and crafting Bellanoir’s Slab, which can be done by collecting Bellanoir’s Slab Fragments from treasure chests in high-level dungeons, is a prerequisite. Defeating Bellanoir rewards players with Pal Eggs, which can be incubated to hatch their own Bellanoir. For those seeking an even greater challenge, an extreme version of the fight is available, described as "incredibly powerful and difficult to defeat."
Other New Features
Beyond the addition of Bellanoir, the update brings a plethora of new features and improvements. Players can now use Training Manuals to grant experience to their Pals, enhancing their abilities. The Homeward Thundercloud item allows for fast travel to the nearest base, adding a new level of convenience to exploration. The game's tutorial has been revamped and renamed "Journey," providing a smoother onboarding experience for new players.
Base Building Updates
Base management has also received attention, with players gaining more control over their Pals' work activities. New features allow for the disallowing of certain types of work for specific Pals and the ability to force Pals back to work in the middle of a break. Additionally, crafted items can now be transported from crafting facilities to chests, streamlining the item management process.
While this update marks a significant milestone for Palworld, Pocketpair has promised an even more substantial update for the summer of 2024. This future update will introduce a new island to explore, along with new pals, buildings, weapons, and tower bosses, promising thrilling adventures and expanded gameplay opportunities.
Palworld, which launched in January, has seen immense success, boasting 25 million players and setting records on Steam and Xbox Game Pass. Despite its popularity, the game has faced controversy, with Pocketpair addressing claims of being a Pokémon "rip-off." Regardless, Palworld continues to be the go-to game for many players worldwide.
