2024 has been extremely jampacked and eventful for tycoons in Monopoly Go. If you are someone who enjoys competing in quick, rewarding mini-events, Monopoly Go tournaments should be your go-to ones. Since the beginning of January 2024, Scopely organized over eight tournaments including Firework Frenzy rerun, Snowy Creations, Toy Soldiers, Chest Quest Challenge, Capitalist Crunch, the Dot Com Dash tournament (twice) and the Speedster tournament.
Continuing this trend, the publisher rolled out a new mini event called the Golden Discoveries and as always, it will be available only for a limited time.

Monopoly Go Golden Discoveries Tournament Explained
As you might already know, there are different kinds of in-game events in Monopoly Go. One such is the "tournaments" which are competitive events where players go head-to-head against other players for special prizes.
They are mini-games in which players earn rewards and prizes predominantly in two ways: Achieving milestones and the final position on the leaderboard. Tycoons are given rewards after they reach certain milestones and also depending on one's success, they will earn prizes at the end of the tournament.

As usual, the Golden Discoveries tournament is a 24-hour event. Having kicked off on 28th January, it will be available till 29th January at around 11:58 am CT.
All in all, Scopely has some exciting and great many rewards during this Monopoly Go tournament. However, you are required to cross some high milestones. In total, players can get their hands on up to 3,440 Dice Rolls and five Sticker packs.
This Golden Discoveries tournament also features a multitude of milestones tied to specific point thresholds, each offering players different rewards.
Monopoly Go Golden Discoveries Tournament Milestones & Rewards
There are a total of 25 milestones and rewards in this tournament. They are as follows:
As per any other tournament, players need to land on specific spaces on the Monopoly Go board to earn event points. To earn points in the tournament in Monopoly Go, players will need to land on a Railroad tile and perform one of the following actions:
Bank Heist
Small Heist: Four tokens
Large Heist: Six tokens
Bankrupt Heist: Eight tokens
Mega Heist: 12 tokens
Shutdown
Blocked: Two tokens
Shutdown success: Four tokens
