Marvel’s Spider-Man 2: How to Equip DLC Suits?
Insomniac’s latest entry into its critically acclaimed Spider-Man series has finally been released and several fans are overjoyed to get their hands on the game. This time, players get to step into the shoes of both Peter Parker and Miles Morales and experience an intertwined narrative where the protagonists struggle to find a balance between their personal lives and their duty as Spidermen.
Keeping the narrative aside, the game is expected to be a step up from the previous entries in terms of customizing Spiderman to your own liking. One major aspect of customization comes in the form of Spider suits which have always been a highly sought-after aspect of the game. Apart from what is already available in-game, players can also get access to 10 different DLC suits if they purchase the Deluxe Edition. Let’s take a look at them.
How to Equip Suits in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2?
Insomniac Senior Creative Director Bryan Intihar has confirmed that the game will feature a massive collection of over 65 different suits for both Peter Parker and Miles Morales. However, players will not have access to these suits right away and they are going to have to play through the initial phase of the game to get access to the Suits menu.
In order to unlock these suits you will need to complete a mission called Suit is Sandy, which is the fourth mission as part of the game’s main questline. Once the quest Show Me New York is completed, swinging around for a short while will trigger a dialogue from Peter where he mentions that he needs to swap out his suits. Playing through this quest will unlock the Suits tab in the in-game menu. From here, you are free to head into the suits tab anytime you want. You can craft different suits by pressing X, provided you have enough Tokens and Tech Parts.

Will Spider-Man 2 Get Post-launch DLC?
Considering the fact that the game has been available for less than a day, it is understandable that there aren’t any story expansions confirmed by Insomniac. However, the game will receive post-launch DLC content in the form of Spider Suits. Sony has partnered up with a clothing brand called KidSuper to bring in celebrities like Japanese Singer and Actress Rina Sawayama, Motorsports Driver Lando Norris, and Brazilian Footballer Vinicuis Jr. They will provide ideas to the designing team to create custom Spiderman suits that will appear after the game’s launch.
Although the game has officially dropped, there is no information regarding the launch of these custom suits at the time of writing. However, we can expect an announcement from Sony or Insomniac very soon.
