How to Defeat Venom in Spider-Man 2?
Before you get to the Venom showdown in the 'Together' mission, you must complete a segment as Mary Jane. You have to sneak through Symbiote cave and take down hive doors and dangerous enemies.
After you've completed the segment, it will lead to a mini-boss fight involving Symbiote Behemoth. It's easy to defeat this Symbiote if you shoot the arena's barrels when it comes close.
In total, there are five waves in the final fight against Venom in Marvel's Spider-Man 2; you'll have to make use of your gadgets and environment.
Wave 1
In the Venom battle's first phase, you have to dodge at all costs. Venom has a lot of combos that can drain your health, so it's best to wait until he has stopped attacking you before landing some hits.
The anti-venom suit shares powers similar to the symbiote suit, so make use of it whenever possible. Don't forget that Venom is completely immune to your webs, so don't use them to distract him. Wave 4
Wave 4 is more like the first one, a straight-up fistfight that will rely on your skills. In order to take down Venom in this wave, you have to make use of speakers on the battlefield again to stun him before spamming your abilities. When he's high in the air, dodge his projectile-based attacks and use your abilities when he's trying to recover.
Wave 5
This wave is just a bunch of quick time events, so get ready to mash square when the prompt appears on the screen and do one trigger mini-game, where all you need to do is hold L2 and R2.
After defeating Venom, you will get the game's final cutscene.
