Here’s How You Can Obtain the Last Steps of the Living Boots in Last Epoch

Most Uniques in Last Epoch can be obtained by taking down formidable Timeline Bosses from the Monolith of Fate during the End of Time. The Last Steps of the Living Boots is no exception, available as a drop after taking down Formosus the Undying in the Blood, Frost, and Death Timeline. This endgame region offers three different quests, building up to the final The Lair of Formosus quest that pits you in an ultimate battle against this deadly Void Boss.

Keep in mind that apart from Void damage dealt by Formosus, you must also counter Cold and Necrotic attacks from enemies such as Undead Wengari Matriarch, Frost Lich Formosus, and several Imperial Guards in the Timeline. After finishing the Wengari Battleground and Occupied Heoborea quests, you need to head to The Lair, which requires 300 Stability in Normal and 800 Stability in Empowered Monolith area levels.

After your Triumphant victory against Formosus the Undying, you will get the chance to acquire the following Uniques:

• Frozen Eyes of Formosus: Brass Amulet that has the chance to be obtained in both Normal and Empowered area levels with a 50% drop rate.

• Last Steps of the Living: Boots that have the chance to be obtained in both Normal and Empowered area levels with a 50% drop rate.

• Frostbite Shackles: Elusive Mail Bracers that require a minimum area level of 74 to drop.

• Eulogy of Blood: One-handed rare Axe drop that can only be found through Empowered Monoliths with higher levels of Corruption.

Fortunately, the Last Steps of the Living Arcane Boots have relatively higher drop rates when compared to other unique offers after this boss fight. Its 50% chance is shared with the Frozen Eyes of Formosus Amulet, meaning you can either get the Boots or the Amulet as a reward but never the two together.
