What is the Desert Treasure Quest in Last Epoch?
The Desert Treasure quest tasks players with searching for a contract hidden within the depths of the Maj'elka Slums. To begin this quest, players must go into the cave hideout in the slums and confront the mini-boss lurking within. Once the mini-boss is defeated, a glowing scroll will appear nearby that players must retrieve.
Step 1: Finding the Hidden Tomb Entrance
Begin at The Radiant Dunes waypoint and head south until you reach a crossroads.
From the crossroads, go east, and then northeast at the next crossroads.
Continue east until you find the entrance to the hidden tomb.
Look for glowing glyphs near the entrance to confirm you're in the right place.
Step 2: Defeating the Gold Elemental
Inside the tomb, you'll encounter the Spiteful Gold Elemental, a formidable boss.
Defeat the Gold Elemental to obtain a special relic that is crucial for the quest.
Step 3: Speaking to the Relic Merchant in Maj'elka
Travel to the Maj'elka upper district and speak to the merchant in the center of town who knows about relics.
Follow the merchant's instructions and head to the Maj'elka Slums to continue the quest.
Step 4: Locating the Scalebane Fence
Navigate through the Maj'elka Slums, facing obstacles like the Scalebane Bodyguard.
Reach the Scalebane Fence, who will offer to buy the relic for 5,000 gold.
Haggle with the Scalebane Fence to get 20,000 gold and complete the quest.
