Is Alan Wake 2 on Xbox Game Pass?
Xbox Game Pass is probably one of the best things you can get as a gamer. With over 400 unique and engaging games, Xbox brings everything from triple AAA titles to highly anticipated indie titles to the game service.
Unfortunately, Alan Wake 2 is not available on Xbox Game Pass. Neither publisher Epic nor developer Remedy has announced any details of whether the game will feature on Xbox Game Pass in the future.
Does that mean we’re never going to see Alan Wake 2 on Game Pass? Not Really. Remedy’s previous title, Control, did make its way to the Xbox Game Pass, but this was 16 months after the game launched in August 2019, and it was available on the service for 14 months, exiting in February 2022. The developer’s titles do have a history of featuring on the game service.
Considering that, Alan Wake 2 is unlikely to feature on Xbox Game Pass until late 2024, if not 2025, at the earliest.
Epic Games themselves publish both Alan Wake 2 and Alan Wake Remastered, and on PC, they are Epic Games Store exclusives. If they’re on subscription services, players would have no reason to purchase it from Epic Games Store; as a publisher, Epic wouldn’t want that.
