But as you progress, you might want to experiment with different builds, making the ability to respec crucial. Compared to other games like Path of Exile, Last Epoch's respec system is forgiving and inexpensive. This guide will explain how to respec both skill and passive points effectively in Last Epoch.
Why Respec Skills in Last Epoch?
Respecing skills allows you to try various builds and playstyles without starting a new character. It lets you tailor your build for specific content, experiment with different skill combinations, and adapt to different scenarios. Respeccing can also be useful for reallocating points to better fit your current playstyle or gear.
Respecing Passive Points in Last Epoch
To respec your passive skill points, you need to talk to Chronomancer Lerinne in Keeper’s Camp or any other hub zone. Look for the brain icon on the minimap to locate her. The cost of passive skill respec in Last Epoch starts at 20 Gold but increases with each skill point refunded. Opening the passive talents menu can be done by pressing ‘P.’
Respecing Active Skill Points in Last Epoch
For active skill points, open the skill tree by pressing 'S,' then navigate to the specific skill’s individual skill tree. Click the ‘Respec’ button in the upper right corner to refund skill points. Be careful not to de-specialize the skill, as this resets progress to the next skill point.
