The immersive world of AFK Journey encompasses a variety of items to help you tackle challenging enemies and deadly bosses. One such items are Artifacts which can drastically enhance the damage output of your Heroes. The game currently offers a total of six artifacts that can be unlocked by advancing through the game. the Starshard spell is one of the most powerful among them, allowing you to perform devastating flame attacks on your foes. Without further ado, here’s how you can unlock this spell artifact in AFK Journey.
Unlocking the Starshard Spell Artifact in AFK Journey
As mentioned above, unlocking Artifacts involves simply progressing through the main storyline within the game. As you near the end of Dark Forest 7 and complete Lucent’s Lament questline, you will receive the Starshard spell as a reward for your efforts. However, getting past Dark Forest 7 can be quite challenging, as it demands you to reach higher levels of resonance alongside your increasing AFK stages.
Alternatively, the game also provides you the option to purchase the Starshard Spell Artifact using real money. This can be done by purchasing the Artifact Bundle 1 which will grant you 140 Dragon Crystals. After acquiring this premium currency, all you need to do is head to the Trolley and purchase it.
Although it might be tempting, it is entirely possible to obtain this spell simply by playing through the game and understanding its mechanics. Progressing through the Dark Forest requires decent strategic choices like picking the right heroes and deployment of basic spells like Awakening. Make sure you also upgrade your gear and use your Free Summons to further enhance your Heroes.
Once obtained, you can use the Starshard Spell Artifact to send a flame wave that will engulf all enemies. The amount of damage dealt will vary depending on your enemy’s HP and your team’s attack rates when four of your Heroes cast their ultimates. Additionally, this spell is also capable of reducing your enemy’s attack speed for a given number of seconds.
Considering the fact that it can be used in both PvE and PvP combat, its stats make it one of the best Artifacts in the game.
