Coral Generators in Armored Core 6, also known as red-line generators, are a type of generator which provides energy to your mech. There are over a dozen generators to choose from in the game and the one you choose is crucial because its energy capacity, recharge, and output should align with your overall build. Coral Generators are characterized by low energy recharge but high post-recovery energy supply. Here is all you need to know about how to get Coral Generators in Armored Core 6.

What are Coral Generators in Armored Core 6?

Coral or red-line generators in Armored Core 6 include the IA-C01G AORTA and the IB-C03G: NGI 000. Coral generators are more often used by players with aggressive playstyles. The optimal way to play with these generators is to red-line or exhaust your energy rather than letting it recharge. Once you have fully exhausted your energy bar, you will see it turn red and then blink. The recovery delay on these generators is a lot shorter than its energy (EN) recharge delay. Using these generators allows your Armored Core to remain in the air almost indefinitely, if you are at the right altitude.

In the same vein, the IB-C03G: NGI 000 has one of the lowest EN Recharge and Supply Recovery stats, but in return it has the highest EN Capacity and the highest Post-Recovery EN Supply out of all the generators in game. Here are the specs for the IA-C01G AORTA in Armored Core 6:

  • EN Capacity: 3000

  • EN Recharge: 238

  • Supply Recovery: 333

  • Post-Recovery EN Supply: 2000

  • Energy Firearm Spec.: 105

Here are the stats for the IB-C03G: NGI 000:

  • EN Capacity: 4400

  • EN Recharge: 250

  • Supply Recovery: 312

  • Weight: 8950

  • EN Output: 4340

How To Get Coral Generators In Armored Core 6

In Armored Core 6, you can get the Coral Generator IA-CO1G AORTA in Chapter 3, "Mission 26: Survey the Uninhabited Floating City." This is the first coral generator you can obtain in the game. During the mission, you get the objective to shut down all ECM Fog control devices. When you are next to the second ECM Fog control device, look for the IA-CO1G AORTA on top of a nearby building.

You'll need to complete Chapter 3 Mission 26 to get the AORTA Coral Generator in Armored Core 6.

Look for the beacon on top of the building and head towards it. Here you can open the container to get the  IA-CO1G AORTA in Armored Core 6. Once you have obtained the Coral Generator, complete the mission to unlock it.

Search on top of the buildings for the generator.

If you have trouble finding the AORTA Coral Generator, you should use head parts like the  VE-44B which allow you to extend your scan range to find data logs, part containers, and special encounters.

You can obtain the IB-C03G: NGI 000 by reaching Hunter Rank 8 in Armored Core 6.

How To Use Coral Generator In Armored Core VI
