The newest upcoming game by FromSoftware, known for games like Dark Souls and Elden Ring, is Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon and the game is set to debut today (25th Aug). The game puts players in control of mech suits for vehicular combat. The game is being developed and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. With fans curious about the gameplay and level design, let’s look at how many missions are there in Armored Core 6.

The game will have 5 chapters, with Chapter 1 containing 11 missions including Attack the Watchpoint. This means each chapter is likely to contain between 10 and 12 missions. The game’s progression is designed in a way such that missions can have alternate endings, especially with the multiplayer mode. You can also replay missions to earn some extra cash to upgrade your mech. The developer added that the first playthrough will take roughly 20 hours. This tracks with FromSoftware’s earlier games where it takes anywhere between 25 to 50 hours to do mainline content, with side quests adding to this time.

Along with missions, Armored Core 6 will feature an Arena Mode where players can participate in 1v1 matches against other mechs and win various rewards like cores and money, which can be used to purchase parts and upgrade your mech. The game will also feature online multiplayer support for 1v1 and 3v3 matches. Armored Core 6 releases 25th August, 2023 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
