During an interview with Game Informer, Dragon's Dogma 2 director Hideaki Itsuno said that the game will be similar in length to the first game. For those who don't know, the original Dragon's Dogma takes players an average of 37 hours to complete. However, this is only for adventurers who do not divert from the game's main questlines.
With this in mind, it should take players around 37-40 hours to complete Dragon's Dogma 2, and that's just the main story. If you aim for a completionist run, it will take you more than 100 hours to experience everything the game has to offer. For comparison, Dragon Dogma's completionist run takes more than 110+ hours.
In Capcom's Showcase, developers have already confirmed that the world is four times bigger than the previous game, which was already quite massive. Players will spend a considerable amount of time walking to different locations in Dragon's Dogma 2.

An official PlayStation blog post mentions that Dragon's Dogma 2 is developed on RE Engine. This means that the game is densely populated, woven around the latest physics technology and character AI to deliver an incredibly immersive experience to explore and conquer. The game is all set to release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S/X, and PC on 22nd March 2024.
