Hi-Rez Studios dropped a bombshell at the 2024 SMITE World Championship when they announced the development of Smite 2. A standalone successor to their wildly successful free-to-play MOBA Smite. The game is set to enter alpha testing this spring and promises a new era of cross-platform third-person MOBA gaming with upgraded visuals, refined gameplay, and exciting new features. Smite 2 Alpha Testing and Release Period

While cosmetic items from Smite 1 won't be directly carried over to Smite 2, a new Legacy Pass DLC will be added. This offers cross-generation skins for both games, along with Divine Legacy progress for Year 11. The Divine Legacy program rewards long-time players with unique skins, badges, and cross-generation skins that work between both games.
