You can find Coal in the desert biome, which is at the northernmost point of the map. It’s also the place where Anubis spawns and you can find other crucial resources, such as High-Quality Pal oil.
As you come across Coal in the desert, you need to make sure you get heat-resistant armor and a strong pickaxe to mine Coal from rocks. It’s going to be a long journey, so make sure you have sufficient space to bring Coal back to your base.
Coal is distinguished by its black hue. You’ll find it in clumps with other Coal nodes. Even if you use a metal pickaxe, you will only get a few pieces at a time.
